Why is it that no one takes other people's words seriously? or consideration of enlightenment from another human? unless the title "Horoscope" is at the top that's the only time you actually soak in words. When I say don't join the army you might die and you brush it off with "its a simple job with lots of money" and then I watch another dead soldier get carried by 10 of his friends...is that when they think I am right or is it when they go home to the newspaper that day and their horoscope says "maybe you should change your future" ? Maybe I should change my name from Melody to Horoscope and you will listen to me.
The sad fact is the less you listen to others- the less you openly learn, and all you will know is what you allow yourself to know and you become sheltered with an idea of what life really is from your own sheltered mind. Listen to the people around you today with no comment back on how you feel about the situation and just try to see it from other peoples point of views for the day. It seems easy but it isnt.
